The vision of Lift Records is to provide the recording artist with the services necessary to produce and distribute recorded products without losing the rights to their music. Being artists ourselves, we have built our model on making sure that the artist receives the highest possible payout and keep the rights to their work. Lift is obviously not a traditional label.
Our slogan is "Music that Moves". Though this slogan has many connotations, it has one direct meaning: we strive to provide music that moves people in a positive manner. We believe music should be uplifting - thus our name. There is obviously a very positive theme to all we do. As you get to know Lift, you will find that we are not exclusively dedicated to any one genre, just the idea of providing uplifting music.
It is the desire of the Lift team to help artists reach their full potential and to see people blessed by their music. We strive to provide the highest quality products and services to each artist.

THE LIFT MODEL
The Lift model allows the Artist to retain all creative ownership of their work. Here is how it works: the artist and the label share in the costs of each recording project and marketing effort. Since the Artist shares in the cost, they maintain creative ownership as well as a much larger portion of the revenues from the project. Since we own our own studios and have established partnerships for replication, distribution, and radio marketing, we can keep costs low. This ultimately benefits the artist.
